Our Concrete Mortice Posts are quite often used in conjunction with several of our fencing products these would normally include Arris Rails, Featheredge, Gravel Boards to construct your fence.

In most cases, customers use the concrete option as it tends to outlive the wood fence post and is tougher and stronger and needs less maintenance once in. However, they are in the main more costly, some say not as aesthetically pleasing and harder to handle and install due to the weight.

Our Concrete Fence Posts are steel reinforced for additional strength. Once installed you would need to notch (Scarf) the end of your Arris Rail to fit in the mortice hole of the post alternatively buy a bracket from our ironmongery section to avoid this fiddle job.
