Premium Plus Grade Redwood Pine

Is hand selected Redwood joinery machined to a super smooth finish, ready to paint or stain. The plus in the description means this has sorted to a higher grade than the premium to ensure no or very small number of knots, this is usually a grade for small mouldings and sections as knots can have a detrimental effect on these section unlike larger section in the same category and like the premium grade it has been kiln dried ensuring flat and a relatively straight timber ensuring minimal prep required. A super smooth finish, ready to paint or stain.

North Kent Timber only supply Redwood timber unless stated which is more dense and stable coming from Scandinavia forest ensuring that it is slow grown and from the finest woodlands in the world..

Please be aware that timber is a natural product and is Hydroscopic meaning that it releases and takes in moisture through all stages of its life. this is normal and can affect the structure and look of the piece at any stage. Timber moves, bows and twists depending on the environment it is in and a few other factors. Here at North Kent Timber we are aware of this and try to keep it in the best environment for the product but sadly this still will happen.

Knots can be frustrating however all trees have branches and these are a natural feature to most lengths of Timber so unless stated in the description you will have on most occasions a number of knots per piece.
